Step-by-Step Guide

1. Register and Obtain AI Token

  • If you don’t have a HelpLook account, first register on the HelpLook official website.
  • After registering and logging in, navigate to the HelpLook dashboard, click Settings -> AI Configuration, and click Copy to obtain your AI Token.

 

2. Install HelpLook on Salesmartly

  • Install HelpLook from the Salesmartly App Store and paste your AI Token into the required field.

 

3. Import Relevant Data (Essential for AI to Answer Customer Questions)

  • Click Import Content or Upload Files to bulk upload your existing documents. Organize them by themes, departments, or question types for easy navigation.
  • Supported formats for Import Content: .docx, Markdown
  • Supported formats for Upload Files: .xlsx, .pdf

 

  • Your content team can also create articles directly on the platform using HelpLook’s WYSIWYG editor, which supports rich text, Markdown, and advanced features like video, attachments, and tables.

4. Publish the Content (Critical Step)

  • Click Publish for your content to be automatically sent for AI training. ( Supports batch publishing, full publishing, and individual publishing.)

  • If you want the AI to crawl and learn content from website links, go to AI Widget -> Collection and submit the website link.

 

Your AI Knowledge Base is Ready!

Now, when customers ask questions, ChatGPT will provide intelligent responses based on the knowledge base content you’ve created.

To monitor AI performance:

  • Go to Analyze -> AI Q&A to view user questions, AI responses, the data fragments used for training, and details about the AI model.

      • Solution: In AI Bot -> Edit, disable priority triggers for automated workflows to prioritize HelpLook AI.
