How to change access permission?

HelpLook supports multiple access modes including Public/Password/Private and Mixed access to ensure content security. It supports configuring permissions for different users to view different columns and articles.

Click Setup-> USERS AND SECURITY -> Site access on the left side of the page to select access permissions.


Public access

Allow all users on the Internet who have obtained the site link to view

*Available in all package versions


Password access

After setting a password for the site, users need to enter the password when accessing the front-end site to view the site content

*For Professional and above packages


Private access

You need to go to "Visitors And Groups" to add visitor users. You can only access the site after you grant the account a visitor and log in to the account. You can set the content viewing permission to the article level.

*Only for Enterprise package


Mixed access

You need to go to "Visitors And Groups" to add visitor users. Everyone can access the site, but you can configure access permissions for some content.

*Only for Enterprise package
