How to build a knowledge base + AI ChatBot from 0 to 1?

HelpLook can quickly build help centers, blogs, knowledge bases, product manuals, and FAQs with customizable smart AI assistants.

 

1. Create a knowledge base site

①Click "Create now" and choose "AI Knowledge Base (CMS)".

 
②Add site icon, site logo and site name in turn, select site language and site template, and click “Confirm”.

 

2. Import content/create 

Click "Import" to enter existing file information in batches. You can create different categories according to different topics, departments or problem types to facilitate the search and browsing of related knowledge.

Content creation teams can also create articles here, write and publish content directly. HelpLook provides a WYSIWYG editor that is compatible with rich text and Markdown, and provides basic text operations and advanced functions such as inserting videos, attachments, and tables.

3. Retrieval capabilities & AI support

The next step is the most important and essential step. Click “Publish”. The published articles will be automatically sent to AI training.

 

Then test the AI reply effect, you only need to enter keywords and questions, HelpLook AI will retrieve all your online knowledge content and intelligently summarize an answer within 10 seconds.

 

①AI retrieval:

On the visitor side, enter keywords and questions to see the AI search results.

 

The left side of the page displays keyword search results based on Elasticsearch. This on-site search method is based on keyword matching and can quickly find results related to keywords. The AI search on the right side of the page uses text vector search, which considers the semantic relationship between words and documents to provide more accurate and relevant search results.

 

②AI Q&A:

In Web Plugins, enter keywords and questions to view the AI reply effect.

*The algorithm is the same as AI search, but the display interface is different and the application scenario is different.

4. Custom domain name

Custom domain name can make your website more professional and help improve product brand recognition and memorability. It can also perform website search engine optimization, allowing target user groups to find your website more quickly and easily.

 

Click “Settings” “Site Settings”, select “Custom Domain”

 

5. Configure website portal style

You can customize the entire website portal, including custom styles, headers and footers, fonts and other styles.

6. Configuring AI ChatBot

As shown in the figure, click “Web Plugins” “Installatio code”, copy the code to the website where the widget needs to be installed, and the configuration is completed.

7. Adding members to collaborate
